    Do not apply a color to any graphic in a vector-based format (see Graphics & Resolution) placed in a PageMaker document. PageMaker will use the graphic’s color information whether it looks like your color on the screen or not.

Do not store graphics within PageMaker documents. Always link the graphic and supply it on disk when submitting your job to us.

If you import text from another program such as Microsoft Word, check your color pallet. If there is a color that is named "auto" then double click on the color and rename it black (Auto color is a RGB equivalent of black and will not work for commercial printing).
