Graphics

    Use TIFF and EPS graphic file formats. Nothing else will image to our software. Embedded (non-placed) graphics, pasted graphics and other file formats, such as JPEG, PCX, CGM, WMF, PICT, do not image properly to high resolution PostScript devices, particularly when printing as 4-color separations (CMYK). We ask that you send all graphic and picture files with your job. Embedding files in Illustrator is usually okay as long as the files are high enough resolution and the correct color mode. However, it will make your document rather large. We suggest you link them (when saving, uncheck the "Include linked files" in the save window and again in the next window "preserve links") just as you would for a Quark file. We also suggest that you NOT embed your graphics in PageMaker or InDesign documents either. Make sure you send us those image files along with your documents.
